Send us a message

Have a question about a kitchen appliance or a piece of cookware? I’m Tim Rhodes, and I’d like to hear it. You can use the contact form on this page or write to hello@kitchendimes.com.

Asking a good question

A few details can turn a general reply into a useful one.

  • Give the brand and the full model number, which is usually printed on a label inside the door, on the frame or on the back of the appliance.
  • Describe exactly what is happening, including any error code, sound, smell or blinking light.
  • Mention when the problem started and whether anything changed around that time, such as a power outage or a new installation.
  • List what you have already tried so that nobody sends you back to the first step.
  • Share any buying limits that matter, including your budget, available space and existing gas or electric hookups.

Suggesting a product

Product suggestions are welcome, and the most helpful ones explain the problem the product solves. Tell me the product name, why it caught your attention and what question you would like answered. A suggestion is not a promise of coverage, and I can’t offer a positive mention in exchange for one.

Reporting a mistake

If something on the site looks wrong, please send the page address and a short note about the problem. A link to a manual, specification or other source makes it much easier to check.

What this inbox can’t do

I can’t diagnose an appliance in person or stand in for a repair technician, and I can’t give you legal, medical or warranty advice. If you smell gas, leave the house and call your gas utility or 911 from outside. For sparks, smoke or burning smells, shut the appliance off if you can do so safely and get help before using it again.

How your message is handled

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help block automated spam, and submissions are forwarded to the site owner’s inbox. The Privacy Policy explains how that information is handled.

Ask a kitchen question

Tell me what you are cooking with or trying to fix, including the brand and full model number if there is one. Describe what the appliance is doing and what you have already tried, because those details make a useful answer possible.

Suggest a product

Share the product name, the problem it solves for you and what you would like to know about it. A suggestion helps me see what home cooks care about, although it can't guarantee coverage.

Send a correction

Include the address of the page, the line that looks wrong and any manual or source that shows the right information. Specific corrections are the easiest to check and among the most useful messages I get.
